“Why” You may ask should i concern myself with gaining muscle when what I desire is to lose weight? There are two very good reasons why this is important. Muscle looks good and adds attractive lines to your body. And the other reason is that muscle burns more calories then fat. Even when you are watching TV or sleeping, muscles are consuming calories. That should be motivation enough to gain more lean muscle.
Contrary to proper belief, the most important process of muscle building is not the workout. It’s the rest period. When you are lifting weights you’re actually damaging muscle. While you rest and recover, your body is hard at work repairing muscle tissue to be even stronger than ever before. I highly recommend you get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. These days it’s hard to do that, but it’s very important for your health, especially if you want to be in shape. If your goal is to build muscle or lose fat you are demanding a lot from your body and need to rest it properly.
The obvious solution to this problem is to progress in your workout regimen gradually. As you get acclimated to a specific weight with resistance training, or a certain amount of time with a cardio routine, or a level of intensity with a full workout routine review, etc., THEN move on to the NEXT level.

Eat simple carbohydrates like oatmeal, maybe muesli, or toasted brown bread. Eat as much fruit as you wish, but try to include a grapefruit. This is part of the day you can have honey. Enjoy it.
